Your Satori Coin Gi is designed with several tamper-evident features. Please take note of these as you disassemble your Satori Coin Gi.
Be aware that once your Satori Coin Gi is disassembled and the tamper-evident seals have been opened/removed, it is no longer suitable for resale or transfer to others unless they're aware that it has been already opened.
Instructions
- Locate the long hologram seal strip along the outer edge of your Satori Coin Gi's metal body. It is marked with the text: "ex nihilo nihil fit". Removal of this seal will expose a hole and pin.
- Remove the pin holding the two metal halves together using the provided screw. If you've lost the screw, you can find a similar screw at most hardware stores.
- With the holding pin removed, unscrew the two metal halves.
- Carefully pull out the glass plates and plastic core.
- Peel the inner hologram seal on the back side of the coin. This is the side with a window showing the Satori Coin Gi's serial number.
- You should now see a QR code. This QR code contains the second private key for the 2-of-2 multisig address. You can now use this on the Redeem page at our website: https://satoricoin.com/redeem/gi. Alternatively, you can use the self-sufficient redeem script and Bitcoin client of your choice that supports multisig signing to redeem.
